JEANETE JACKSON

LA PAZ

Jeanete Jackson a young artist from La Paz B.C.S., member of Ensenada’s art scene. Currently studying plastic arts in Universidad Autonoma de Baja California (UABC) while participating in art shows and events in the area using different styles and techniques like painting, sketching and ceramics. Her works expresses introspection, form, density, gravity and all of its unwarned consequences.

HECTOR HERRERA

CDMX

Born in Mexico City in 1975, studied arts at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Winner of the National Price for Young Art by the INBA in 2002 and many other prices and international scholarships. Hector has obtained many mentions in the plastic arts scene of Mexico. His work has been shown internationally in countries like the United Sates, Chile, Spain and Brasil. Currently resides in Ensenada where he coordinates the Center of Residences and Artistic Exchanges (CRIA) and owns and manages the Petanca Gallery.

BIBIANA BADIA

TIJUANA

Mexican painter, sketch artist and sculptor, Bibiana was born in Tijuana in 1978 and studied Graphic Design in Universidad Iberoamericana del Noroeste. Considered and autodidact in wood carving and studied art, drawing, carbon drawing. Daughter of master artist Juan Badia.

LA CAJA SECA

ENSENADA

Itinerant Art, La Caja Seca provides a space for local artists to showcase their work and present it in remote locations. Produced by Alternative Space of the Contemporary (EAC) with the purpose of providing an opportunity for exhibition and art production in Ensenada.
